Getting dressed for the holidays in our house means putting on outfits that make us feel good. For us this means outfits that feel festive and fun and are comfortable for moving around and cuddling up. Pink Chicken is my first choice for holiday outfits. Their styles are fun for the girls – think sparkles via Lurex thread or glitter buttons and Santa prints and candy canes - with colors that make us feel cheery.
I’ve always been able to reuse styles tucking our favorite holiday outfits away for our little one to use in the future, and sometimes later in the year. Our dresses for Thanksgiving (a beautiful print with blush, gold, and red tones) were worn again in the spring and summer this year without tights.
This year I’m buying styles that I’ll let the girls repeat before the big days too.
